Rain and cooler weather are back!

It is time for mums! Among all the fall foliage, mums are a favorite but we cannot forget about other fall perennials that will be in full bloom this month. Asters, goldenrod, and sedum are great to add color to your yard in the fall with little to no maintenance.

Roses are back

The second best bloom time of the year, roses are found on just about every block. This month is also a good time to plant roses. Planting anything in the fall is a task between the rainy days and the humid days.

Seed, seed, seed

Finally, time to plant seed, top-dress, and patch bare spots in the yard but also time to be careful and knowledgeable on what type of grass seed to buy and how to utilize what your soil has to offer! Now is the time for seeding, top-dressing, patching bare spots and fertilizing. The trick is knowing what to do first and when. What type of grass is already established and thriving?
